Getting your data into R

Wednesday 7th at 0930-1300

Attendees are expected to have prior learning in R and RStudio.

This session covers loading data into the R environment so that it can be cleaned, explored, visualised and analysed. Participants are expected to bring their own datasets.

Course Outcomes:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Upload, download, create or import data into R
  • Manipulate large datasets as tables in R
  • Explore their own datasets using multiple approaches
  • Test for missing, partial or inconsistent data
  • Summarise and compare datasets with R
